A delightful story, based on true events, about the friendship between a lonely boy and an extraordinary dog.
His name is Italo, and he is a good-natured stray dog who wanders into the beautiful small Sicilian town of Scicli, in the province of Ragusa. Italo's arrival causes an uproar because people in the village are opposed to having stray dogs around. Everyone, except Meno, a bright 10 year-old who is lonely and introverted. Following the death of his mother, Meno has withdrawn from everyone, including his workaholic father, the town mayor. It will take the unconditional love of a special dog like Italo to draw Meno out of his shell.
Directed by Alessia Scarso, with Marco Bocci, Elena Radonicich, Barbara Tabita, Tomak, Vincenzo Lauretta, Martina Antoci
